Meeting called to order at 7:04pm.

Reading of minutes from June 25, 2008.
Motion to approve minutes passed unanimously.
Action items
status:
Jerry still needs to follow through with last month's resolution regarding landscaping.
Jeff is
waiting for contributions from Jerry and Mindy for the newsletter.
Newsletter now targeted to be delivered by August
7, 2008.
Stormwater Update:
City moving forward with establishing stormwater utility, $6/month. No break
for HOAs.
Streets should be swept now. Next city council meeting (August 14th, 7:00pm) will discuss the matter
further.
Upcoming water retention pond cleaning parties (all at 9:00a.m. at the pond behind Merea):
-August 9
-August 23
-September 6
-September 20
We may have a non-profit group come to harvest some trees from
our pond.
Paul to ask Cameron to cut down some more trees within the pond fence.
Financial Update:
Some
homes still have not paid their dues. They will soon receive a 3rd letter requesting payment and warning of having the
matter be turned over to an attorney if non-payment continues.
Dues Increase Discussion
Briefly discussed
the matter again. Discussion tabled.
Rules Enforcement Procedure
Jerry has addressed issues in a written
letter to the offending home owner in the past.
Motion that the entire board be informed of infractions and responses
moving forward passed unanimously.
Rules Infractions:
A homeowner's yard is in disrepair and has been
for a long time. We will move forward with addressing the issue as outlined in our Bylaws.
Activities:
The annual yard sale was a success.
Jerry will follow up with Robert regarding a movie night before school starts.
Motion for Jerry to put up sandwich boards informing homeowners of board meetings in an effort to increase participation.
Passed unanimously.
Motion to adjourn at 8:14pm.
